The story Eugene Onegin tells of madam larina ,a widow,who lives in the country with her two daughters.Olga and Tatiana.Olga is more cheerful and outgoing than her younger sister,who spends her time reading aromantic novels.Olga is engaged to the young landowner,Lensky.One day Lensky brings a friend from the city to visit madam Larina and her daughters.He is Eugene Onegin ,a man who has decided tobe cynical,unemotional and bored by life.Tatiana doesn't realise this and falls passionately in love with himalmost the moment she sees him.She wirtes aletter to tell him.But Eugene does not love Tatiana and he tells her not to be so ridiculous.Tatiana is heartbroken.
And it goes on.The film is beatiful.I also loved dresses. I recommend you to watch this movie.
although I'm a big fan of ralph fiennes, I have never heard of this movie :)
